JON BRADY - 'WE NEED TO COMMIT WITH REAL PURPOSE AND CONVICTION ON SATURDAY'

The Cobblers caretaker boss looks ahead to Saturday's game at Swindon Town

25 February 2021

Cobblers caretaker boss Jon Brady says it is time for the side to really take things forward and turn performances in to points as he previews Saturday’s trip to Swindon.

“I feel we are moving forward but now is the time to really step on,” he said.

“We’ve made a lot of improvements in a short space of time but we need to turn that into wins.

“We need just that little bit more and on Saturday we are urging the players to commit to things with real conviction.

“We always want to try and win games but at times the rest of this season is going to be a dogfight and there will be no surrender from us.

“We play a certain way but we won’t always be able to play how we want to play. Teams will make it difficult for us like Rochdale did on Tuesday but there is always a way to unlock the opposition.

“When teams make it difficult for us to play we have to find a way to overcome that and we will.

“We are going to commit with real purpose and conviction on Saturday and we are going all out for the three points.”
