JON BRADY - 'WE MISS THE CONNECTION WITH THE SUPPORTERS BUT HOPEFULLY THEY HAVE ENJOYED SOME EXCITEMENT IN LAST FEW GAMES'

The views of the Cobblers boss

23 February 2021

Cobblers caretaker boss Jon Brady says he is not looking any further ahead than Tuesday night’s home clash with Rochdale, kick-off 7pm, and he hopes recent performances have created a buzz amongst supporters.

“Every week is big for us at the moment but you can’t look too far ahead and right now all we are focusing on is trying to get a positive performance and positive result against Rochdale,” he said.

“We are expecting a battle which we are up for, we will have to work hard to break Rochdale down and we will need to be at our best.

“We miss the supporters massively and getting that connection. The energy our fans bring is incredible and we miss that passion and support. Hopefully they have enjoyed some excitement over the last few games. What we need to do now is add points to the excitement and performances.

“Our last three performances have been really positive but we need to turn those performances into results.

“This football club means a lot to us and we are going to do everything in our power to try and maintain our League 1 status.”
