JON BRADY USING TRAINING TIME WISELY DURING BUSY RUN OF MATCHES

The caretaker manager looks ahead to Saturday

19 February 2021

Caretaker manager Jon Brady says the hectic run of matches means he has to use his time wisely as he prepares the squad for this run of fixtures. The Cobblers are in a run of 15 games in 55 days, and Brady says that means time management is crucial.

"We are in an intense run of games at the moment and that means we have to manage our time on the training ground well," he said.

"We are working every day to be better, every day. By doing so, the schedule of the day might be tweaked, the order we do things might be tweaked, the way we do things might be tweaked.

"I want the players challenged, I want them talking about things and understanding things. We will be reinforcing the message, we can be clever, use our time wisely and we can find a way. We have an opportunity to improve individually and collectively to try and retain our League 1 status.

"We are looking forward to Saturday. We will have a plan, we will be set up well but everything we do will be very positive.

"Mickel Miller and Alan Sheehan both have a chance of being involved and being part of things at the weekend.

"Both players will be a big boost for us. Mickel adds more balance to us, he is a natural left footed attacking player and he will bring a freshness to the squad.

"Alan Sheehan is a vital player for us. He has huge experience and we have missed him and his return, whenever it comes, will be huge for us."
