JON BRADY DELIGHTED AS COBBLERS EXTEND EXCELLENT RUN

Jon Brady was a happy man as he looked back on the 2-1 win at Harrogate Town on Saturday.

“It’s great to get back to back wins especially on the road,” he said.

“The schedule has been tough this week and I’m just pleased for everybody to get another win on the board.

“Our fans were fantastic and it was like being at home. You could feel the fans in the changing room and they really drove us on. It was very humbling to get that support and hopefully we can pack out Sixfields next week.

“I thought we started the game really well and we were on the front foot but as soon as we scored we dropped off a little bit. We sat back and we were a bit passive but in the second half we controlled the game a bit more and again today we found a way to win.

“The work rate and attitude from the players was spot on again, I know what they can do but they still keep surprising me. It’s been a good week but we can’t get carried away, we need to maintain the same attitude and keep working hard.”
