IT'S ALL COBBLERS TO ME WINS NATIONAL AWARD

Fans podcast honoured at FSA awards ceremony this week

3 December 2021

The Northampton Town podcast, It’s All Cobblers To Me, has been recognised as Club Podcast of the Year at the Football Supporter’s Association Awards in London.

The weekly podcast, hosted by Charles Commins who is joined by co-hosts Chessie Coleman, Neil Egerton-Scott and Danny Brothers, has been running for over three years with the team looking back on each Cobblers game as well as the latest news from the club. Bonus episodes have also been released featuring former players and the podcast has hosted Open Forums including a pre-season event at Sixfields.

At a star-studded event in Leicester Square, awards such as Men’s and Women’s Players of the Year, Writer of the Year and Commentator of the year were handed out with Mohammed Salah, Vivianne Miedema, Jonathan Wilson and Peter Drury among the winners on the night.

The Club Podcast of the Year was voted for by the public initially and It’s All Cobblers To Me was voted into the final six, where a panel selected them as the overall winner ahead of stiff competition from Manchester City’s Blue Moon, Charlton Athletic’s Charlton Live, Crystal Palace’s Five Year Plan, Wycombe Wanderer’s Ringing The Blues and Sunderland’s Wise Men Say.

Charles Commins, who has led the pod since its inception, said:

“I’m delighted to have received this award. It’s testament to the hard work that Danny, Neil, Chessie and I have put into making It’s All Cobblers To Me over the last 3 years.

"We’ve created a podcast that shares the views of Cobblers fans and puts that at the heart of our content. Thank you to everyone who has ever listened.”

It’s All Cobblers to me is available on all podcast platforms and cobblerstome.com and is released every Tuesday.
