Jon Brady has confirmed that Joseph Mills will captain the Cobblers for the 2021/22 season.
The left back will wear the armband for the coming campaign, and will have Fraser Horsfall as his vice captain.
“Millsy is a strong character and a great leader," he said.
"He speaks well within the group and he leads from the front with his performances.
“Fraser has come a long way since we took over and his performances speak for themselves, especially in the last 19 games he played at the end of last season. Like Millsy he leads through performances and in my opinion he is a real up and coming centre-half in this league.”
