Jon Brady says the Cobblers will face another tough challenge this weekend as he previews Saturday’s trip to Colchester United.
“Colchester are another team I expect to be up there this season, they have signed some good experience players and Hayden Mullins is someone I have followed closely from his time at Watford,” he said.
“It will be a different type of challenge for us but our aim for these first ten games is to just keep improving.
“We’ve had a good week but we can’t get carried away. It will be a tough fight at Colchester and we need to make sure we are ready and well prepared for that.
“I made eight changes at Coventry and I think that showed the real strength in depth we have in the squad.
“After the game at Coventry I definitely have some real selection issues but they are great problems to have and we know it will be a totally different type of challenge we face at Colchester.”
