Jon Brady has been speaking about the club’s recruitment drive over the summer with twelve new signings made by the Cobblers ahead of the new season.
“We’ve been aggressive and strong in our recruitment, Martin Foyle has done a tremendous job as head of recruitment along with all the staff and I’m really happy with the squad we’ve assembled,” he said.
“We had a structure and there has been real diligence in what we’ve done.
“I feel we have got pace, power, athleticism which is what we were after and we have got a real balance to the side.
“Right now though we don’t have any measurables, you can’t always judge on pre-season and the measurables will come when three points is on offer.
“We believe what we’ve got here is good and it’s strong but we will only really be able to tell that over time."
