Jon Brady is waiting on the fitness of Ryan Watson heading into this Saturday’s clash with Blackpool at the PTS Academy Stadium.
Watson picked up an injury in the 2-2 draw at Gillingham but Brady is hopeful the midfielder will be fit to face the Seasiders at the weekend.
“We hope Ryan will be fit and we will give him every opportunity,” he said.
“He didn’t train in the early part of the week but we will monitor him closely. Our physio Nacho is doing a great job and he is certainly earning his money at the moment!"
Asked about this weekend’s boycott of social media by all football clubs as a response to the recent rise in on-line hate Brady said:
“It’s great to see football coming together and I’m massively behind the action that is being taken.
“We’ve got to take a stand together and that includes everybody, players, managers, supporters.
“We’ve got to tackle this issue head on and get it sorted.”
