Jon Brady has praised the fighting spirit in his squad after the team battled back from two goals down at Gillingham last weekend.
The Cobblers scored twice in four minutes to claim a point, and Brady paid tribute to his players.
“Every time we’ve been written off we fight back and this group have proven that they won’t give up and they won’t give in,” he said.
“This football club and this town mean a lot to the players and the staff and everyone is doing their absolute upmost to try and keep this club in League 1.
“After 78 minutes at Gillingham we were dead and buried but that never die and never give in attitude from the boys came through.
“We were a little bit submissive in the first half, we let Gillingham gain the momentum and they are very good at what they do.
“After the game I didn’t really know how to feel, it was a great comeback but we could have won it and closed the gap even more.
“The tempo we played at for the last fifteen minutes was terrific and I’d love for us to play at that tempo for the full 90 minutes.”
