Jon Brady says his side can cause a shock when they travel to Peterborough United on Friday.
The Posh are currently second in the table with very strong home form, but Brady says his side have proved themselves capable of upsetting some of the strongest sides in League 1 over the last couple of months.
“We’ve been a lot more competitive in games and we’ve shown that on any given day we can achieve a result that is maybe unexpected - no one expected us to beat Portsmouth 4-1 at home and get a result against Oxford," he said.
“It doesn’t matter in derbies where you are in the table, it’s a one off game and we will be giving it everything we’ve got.
“The league table doesn’t lie, we haven’t been good enough consistently over 41 games, there have been some good moments and we are trying everything with what we’ve got.
“We will not give up in this fight for survival and we want to make the fans proud of our efforts.”
