With two games over the Easter weekend starting with Friday’s home clash with Shrewsbury, caretaker boss Jon Brady is still without midfielders Jack Sowerby and Mickel Miller.
“We are limited in options because of the injuries we have,” he said.
“Jack and Mickel are both still out and because of that we are asking the players in the team to play a lot of minutes and it is hard to maintain that high tempo that we want.
“We haven’t got the biggest of squads, we don’t have a huge number of different options and the players who are available are going to really have to put a shift in but we know that is what they will do.
“It’s going to be tough but we are very much up for the challenge.”
