Northampton Town have signed Fleetwood Town midfielder Jack Sowerby for an undisclosed fee.
The 25 year old made 96 appearances for Fleetwood, with 30 of those games coming in the 2019/20 season as the Cod Army made the League 1 play offs.
Sowerby also enjoyed a successful loan spell at Carlisle United in the 2018/19 season, scoring five times in 28 appearances.
"Jack is a player who has been on our radar for some time," said manager Keith Curle.
"He is a dynamic, attacking midfield player who likes to get forward and has an eye for goal.
"Jack has an excellent attitude, a good work ethic, he is a good age with a good range of experience and he has that hunger and desire to kick on. He is someone we think will fit in well here.
"He has a good understanding of the role he plays in the team, he takes up threatening positions and I think he is someone who will add to our group."
Sowerby has signed a 2 year contract with the option for a further year.
