KEITH CURLE SAYS WORK TO EVOLVE THE SQUAD IS AN ONGOING PROCESS

The Cobblers boss looks ahead to Saturday

15 October 2020

Keith Curle says the club are always looking to add players who will help improve the squad.

"As always, there are certain dominoes that are waiting to be tipped," he said. "We know where we are financially which is important at this time,  and we are in the right place that if the right player becomes available at the right price, we can look at things.

"Every club, every team, every squad can improve and there are players out there who can improve us. We will act responsibly because value for money is even more important at this time with how things are in the world.

"We may see one or two players depart. If an offer comes in that suits us and suits the player then we will look at that for sure.

"Whether we bring anyone in or not, we are a side who can play different formations. We have fludity in the team, we did change shape a few times last Saturday but it is not all about  formations. It doesn't matter what system you play, if you make wrong decisions and are in the wrong place at the wrong time it makes it hard to win games and we know there are many areas where we can improve."
