Northampton Town academy under 12 player, Jack Maltby-Smith was inspired by Marcus Rashford’s campaign to provide meals for children during half term week.
He decided to encourage friends and family to sponsor him for the amount of goals he scored in his fixtures last weekend.
Jack ended up scoring twice in the U12’s fixture against Stoke City.
As of Thursday, he had smashed his original target of £500 and is currently on £685, which will go towards the campaign to help prevent children going hungry.
