PLACE IN KNOCK OUT STAGES OF PAPA JOHN'S TROPHY UP FOR GRABS

Cobblers and Stevenage to meet on Tuesday night

15 November 2020

Northampton Town meet Stevenage at the PTS Academy Stadium on Tuesday (7pm kick off) with a place in the knock out stages of the Papa John's Trophy up for grabs.

MK Dons currently top the group and are through, while the Cobblers and Stevenage will go head to head to see who will join the Dons in making the knock out stages.

The Cobblers and Stevenage both have three points from their two games played so far, with Northampton Town currently above Alex Revell's side by virtue of a better goal difference, +3 against zero.

In the two matches played by the Cobblers so far, Keith Curle's side were beaten 3-1 at MK Dons in September, before beating Southampton under 21s 5-0 at the PTS Academy Stadium last month.

The winners of Tuesday's game will go through to the knock out stages.

Should the game end in a draw, the side who win the penalty shoot out will progress to the knock out stages.

The game kicks off at 7pm on Tuesday and can be watched live on iFollow.

A reminder, in the knock out stages of the competition, the group winners have a home draw, while the group runners up play away from home.
