Cobblers boss Keith Curle says his side are looking to build on Saturday's win at Burton Albion as they prepare for Tuesday night’s trip to Rochdale, kick-off 7pm.
“The result on Saturday came from a solid foundation and that is our starting point,” he said.
“We know that we can be creative from set pieces and we have the dynamics in our team to hurt teams on transition.
“Rochdale have got some good technicians in their team and we are very respectful of how they play.
“It’s always nice to come in on a Monday on the back of a positive result and a positive performance at the weekend.
“The one thing we always do is look at the positives in games even if sometimes they are limited and the players here don’t shy away from the criticism. They all want to improve and we work very hard to help them do that.
“We are nowhere near at a level where we can pick and choose the games we win and we have a mindset where we go into every game believing we can win it.”
