As the attention turns to midweek Papa John's Trophy action, Cobblers boss Keith Curle says that the players and staff have spent a lot of time looking back at Saturday's game to learn the lessons from that match.
“Win, lose or draw part of my job is to evaluate each game and my staff and the players do the same,” he said.
“It’s important you get the right message across, as a professional footballer you are always going to make mistakes but the good players identify those errors and improve.
“We’ve gone up a level and when you make a mistake you are more likely to get punished. We don’t ignore the criticism, we look at it and learn where and how we need to improve.
“Our format won’t change and I know there are lots of areas where we need to improve collectively and individually.
“We’ve had a bad week but the table is tight and we have a good week the picture soon changes.”
