Cobblers boss Keith Curle is weighing up his options ahead of Monday night’s trip to Oxford City.
“I’ve got players where it is not advisable for them to play on the 3G surface which is understandable and I will take that on board,” he said.
“With an artificial surface you sometimes don’t really feel the effects until a couple of days after but we have got enough time in-between games to rest and recover.
“The artificial surfaces have come on massively since I was playing, you do have to adapt slightly but it’s still just a game of football.
“We need to win, we won’t change our mindset and we will have a plan that we need to execute.”
