HUMMEL TO BECOME CLUB'S NEW TECHNICAL PARTNER

Current online club store to close on Wednesday evening ahead of new online store being launched

27 May 2020

Northampton Town are delighted to announce that hummel will be the club's new Technical Partner from the start of the 2020/21 season.

The Danish sportswear company already work with a number of Premier League and EFL clubs, including Everton, Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic and Coventry City and the Danish national team.

In addition to the first team kit and training wear, all of the club's Academy, Development Centres and Ladies and girls teams will also wear the same playing and training kit.

Chief Executive James Whiting said: "We are really excited to be working with hummel and to bring a new look to both our kits and our training wear.

"hummel are a high quality and hugely respected brand and the number of partners they have in football is growing, so we are delighted to welcome them on board.

"When released, I think the new home and away kits, both designed especially for the club, will prove very popular.

“These kits will hopefully be on sale soon, however an exact date will be decided once we get more information regarding Covid-19 and when next season will begin. We would ask supporters to watch this space as all details will be released on the club’s website.

"We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Nike and Just Sport over the last few years and we thank them for their support and now we look forward to our new partnership with hummel."

"We are pleased to be partnering with Northampton Town Football Club, said Commercial Director of hummel Neil Burke.

"We are extremely proud to have been chosen as the new Technical Partner. At hummel we pride ourselves in doing things a little differently by adding that extra twist and a bit of character to all that we do. Over the next few years we will endeavour to provide players, staff and most importantly loyal fans with an exceptional range of products both on and off the field.”

The club's current online store at ntfc.clubstore.co.uk will be taken down on the evening of Wednesday May 27th and a new online store will be launched in early June. All orders placed up to the evening of Wednesday May 27th will be fulfilled as the online store sale continues.

The club will continue to play in the 2019/20 Nike kit for the proposed League 2 play off fixtures.
