Northampton Town Football Club and the Northampton Town Community Trust are working hard to support the community of Northampton and beyond during this coronavirus outbreak.
During the past few weeks, club officials, staff and players have continued to make phone calls and send videos and messages to supporters to check on their wellbeing, lift spirits or to generally help out. This work is ongoing and we would like to say thank you to everyone who has taken one of our calls so far, it has been great to speak to you!
Some of the other highlights this week have included:
The club donated food and drink to the Northampton Hope Centre
Russell Lewis from the Community Trust has been out delivering food parcels alongside the Hope Centre
Assistant manager Colin West attended a Zoom meeting with coaches from the Northampton Town multi disability club
Morgan Roberts set a challenge to pupils from Boothville Primary School
Scott Wharton sent a video message to Gary and Edward
Alan McCormack took part in a Q&A session with players from the Academy
The Community Trust Coffee Club took place (virtually) on Friday morning
Keith Curle called key worker Josh
Northampton Town Football Club and the Northampton Town Community Trust will continue to offer as much support as we can to those in need through this period of uncertainty and we look forward to the day when we can get together again at the PTS Academy Stadium!
