KEITH CURLE READY FOR FOREST GREEN TEST

The Cobblers boss looks ahead to Saturday

11 March 2020

Having watched back the DVD of Saturday's opponents winning 2-0 at Swindon Town last week, Cobblers boss Keith Curle knows Saturday’s trip to Forest Green Rovers will be a tough game.

“Every team in this division has got their own identity and we respect that,” he said.

“We do our homework on every opposition and we identify each team’s strengths and weaknesses. We think we can cause them problems but we know that they can score goals.

“I grew up with Mark Cooper and I’ve got a good understanding of how he wants the game to be played and the disciplines he instils on his team.

“Similarly Mark knows the demands we put on our players and he will be getting his team to stand up to them.

“The important thing for us is that we focus on ourselves and our next fixture.

“It sounds like a bit of a cliché but it’s what we need to do.

“Training this week has been very good and we maintain our focus.”
