The club are waiting on the fitness of on-loan West Brom striker Callum Morton who picked up an injury in Saturday’s home game against Mansfield.
“We are awaiting the scan results on Callum,” said boss Keith Curle.
“We will look at those results with West Brom and then put together a plan that gets Callum back on the field as quickly as possible."
One player the Cobblers will be without this weekend is Sam Hoskins who is set to serve a one-match ban following his sending off last Saturday.
“Losing Sam is a blow but as one door closes another door opens.
“James Olayinka has had another week training and having him back will be a big plus.
“Andy Williams is back field based training and as long as he suffers no reaction this week he will be available for selection.”
