Chairman Kelvin Thomas said it is great to see the players back training.
The players and staff returned to training - in accordance with the protocols - on Monday, and the Chairman says it is great to see them back.
"It has been a long time, but the players are excited and ready to go," he said.
"They are in good shape and they are looking sharp.
"They are delighted to be back playing football but they started off training in small groups and are undergoing testing twice a week. I have to say, the players and staff have been fantastic. There is a real togetherness in the squad, they feel like they have an opportunity ahead of them and they have just got on with things. They are excited to be back, they will be ready for the games and they are ready to take on all of the challenges head on."
The club recorded one positive test in the first round of testing, pyhsio Ignacio Herrando, and the Chairman said Nacho is doing well, he is just frustrated that he cannot be part of things at the moment.
"Nacho is fine, he is frustrated more than anything else - he felt like he was being extra careful but it is one of those things. It just shows this virus can affect anyone at any time.
"Positive tests can happen, We have to expect there will be challenges along the way in the next few weeks with the virus around, but the attitude all around the club is that we are in the play offs, let's go for it. We will keep everyone safe as best we can, but we have a job to do and we see this as an opportunity more than anything else."
