NORTHAMPTON TOWN COMMUNITY TRUST VACANCIES

The Northampton Town Community Trust are recruiting

2 June 2020

The Northampton Town Community Trust are recruiting for various roles within the organisation! We have two full time roles available and one part time role, all of which are fantastic opportunities to work within a professional sporting environment.

We are currently looking for an Education & Sport Mentor on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting role with particular focus on our school programmes and will see the successful candidate inspire, engage and support young people within Northamptonshire through the delivery of curriculum based and extra-curricular activities. The role will include delivery of PE lessons, classroom support in literacy and numeracy, healthy lifestyles/PSHE sessions, girls’ football, disability football, targeted behaviour interventions and extra-curricular activities in football and multi-skills as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme. Activities will be delivered in mainstream primary schools as well as alternative education settings.

As well as that position we are also on the look out for a Premier League Kicks Inclusion Coach on a part-time basis. This exciting role focuses on our Premier League Kicks programme. It involves leading informal evening coaching sessions to engage young people aged 8-18 in fun, positive physical activity. There is the added pastoral element of raising awareness around crime. Other duties include leading girls and disability after school football sessions to increase participation and engagement. Late afternoon and evening sessions are delivered in community and school settings in different locations countywide.

The other position we are currently looking for is a new Business Development Manager to build on the work that we are currently doing. With an emphasis initially on schools, the successful applicant will be responsible for pro-actively increasing the revenue and reach of the community trust schools programme, achieving set income generation targets for new business and retained business. They will work closely with the CEO and Programmes Manager to identify, develop and close business opportunities to grow our work.
