Chairman Kelvin Thomas says the club will be targeting players with a hunger and a desire to improve as they plan for life in League 1.
The Chairman used the example of Charlie Goode, Callum Morton, Ryan Watson, Scott Wharton and Sam Hoskins who have all improved individually working with Keith Curle and his staff, and says the club will be an attractive option for players with a hunger and a desire to further their careers.
"Our recruitment this summer will be all about players with desire, hunger and a determination to better themselves and to drive themselves and the club forward," he said.
"Keith has already started looking at targets for next season. We don't know when we can sign players, the transfer window isn't open yet and we don't know when it will. All you can do in the meantime is strike agreements to put through later. The work is going on, talking to players, meeting players and it will be an interesting transfer market this summer. It will be a short, sharp window but we are ready and we have our targets.
"I think we are an attractive club for young, hungry players with potential. Look at our squad, there are some great examples of players who have improved immensely under Keith. Take Charlie Goode, I think we have changed his career path and that's down to coaching and development and being part of a club on the up. Individually and collectively, and I include the likes of Callum Morton, Scott Wharton, Ryan Watson and Sam Hoskins in that, we improve players and we are a good club for players who are hungry and want to improve to come to."
