Cobblers boss Keith Curle is preparing for a busy week, culminating in next Friday’s Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie with Derby County but before that there are two very important league games against Morecambe and Leyton Orient to contend with.
“We accept one challenge at a time and we don’t overload the thinking for the players,” he said.
“We are always forward planning and looking at the schedule but every game has got a value to us and our focus at the moment is on Morecambe and then after Saturday it will be on Leyton Orient and after that then on Derby.
“Our focus this week is totally and utterly on Morecambe, the players are happy with that and every game presents different challenges for different individuals within a team framework.
“We have a game plan for Morecambe and our preparation doesn’t change whether we are taking on Morecambe in the league or Derby in the cup.”
