The Northampton Town Ladies overcame Woodlands Ladies 5-0 on Sunday in a game played in wet and windy conditions at Moulton College.
Skipper Alex Bartlett opened the scoring just before half time, a goal that ensured the Cobblers led at the break.
With just under an hour played, Cesca Partridge made it two-nil, a lead that was stretched to three when Abbie Brewin added a third on 77 minutes.
Debutant Maisie Jones, on as a substitute, made it four with five minutes to play before Partridge wrapped things up with three minutes to go, scoring a fifth goal from the penalty spot.
