OPTIONS FOR KEITH CURLE AHEAD OF WALSALL TRIP

The Cobblers boss looks ahead to Saturday's game at Walsall

14 February 2020

The Cobblers make the trip to Walsall on Saturday and boss Keith Curle is happy with the options he has in the squad.

“We’ve got options and players coming back,” he said.

“We’ve got the ability to change the personnel without changing the dynamics of how we want to play, we’ve got a very competitive squad and we are in a very good position.

“It won’t be long before Harry Smith is back available and Alan McCormack and James Olayinka aren’t too far away either.

“We’ve had to slightly modify Alan’s training because he wants to be doing more than the medical department have advised and they are mindful of his history. When we get Alan back we want him back for a sustained period and not just for two or three games.

“James is out of his restrictive boot, his ankle has taken a little bit of time to settle down but the pleasing thing is that the medical departments here and at Arsenal are both on the same page and he will be back available for us very shortly.”
