Over the period 2018-19, the Northampton Town Community Trust, which is the official charity representing the football club, has seen fantastic growth and impact in a number of areas, delivering a broad range of work across themes of health and wellbeing, education, disability and inclusion and sports participation.

The Community Trust have given back more than ever before in to the local community through delivery of innovative initiatives and programmes that support over 1,000 people every single week. This has ranged from mental health first aid training, delivery of football-based drug and alcohol recovery sessions and men’s healthy lifestyle programmes to education programmes in primary schools and older adult programmes such as Extra Time Hubs which are helping to combat loneliness.

Phillip Smith, Chief Executive Officer of the Northampton Town Community Trust said: “The impact that we continue to have across Northamptonshire is something that we are immensely proud of and something that we continue to grow day by day. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about making a difference and unlocking the club’s social value to really show we are more than football.

"A lot of work goes into making sure every single one of our programmes has a positive effect within the community and the recent story of one of our participants, Andy, is just one of many we have. We are proud to have made such a difference to the lives of people in our community as we continue on our mission to connect communities and improve lives.”

Scott Desborough, Chair of Trustees for the Northampton Town Community Trust, said: "The Trust continues to go from strength to strength, engaging with more people from our local community than ever before, bringing people together and helping make a difference to peoples lives. The commitment and dedication of the brilliant team we have at the Community Trust, as well as the Board of Trustees, will hopefully see that engagement continue to grow."
