Northampton Town would like to say a big thank you to all of our virtual mascosts at the Doncaster Rovers game.
The day saw those chosen receive a personalised video message from a first team player, a mention in the online matchday programme and a code to watch the match online on iFollow.
All of those chosen are currently engaged with the club's Community Trust as part of the ongoing 'Tackling Loneliness' project.
Two of the mascots, Barry and Linda (pictured in pre Covid 19 days), contacted the club to say:
"Many thanks for including me as a virtual mascot. I received my video from Sammo. You couldn’t have picked a better person to send me a message as he has always been my number one legend for the Cobblers. He always has time to talk to people as I can testify. We have met several times."
