The Papa John’s Trophy Round Three draw will take place live on TalkSPORT 2 on Thursday 10 December.
The draw will be conducted at 11:15am, with former Preston North End and Stoke City striker Jon Parkin on-hand to draw the teams out.
Parkin enjoyed an illustrious career in the EFL, making over 450 appearances, including promotion to the Premier League with Stoke City in 2008, before a second promotion in 2014, this time to League One with Fleetwood Town.
There will be 16 Clubs involved in Round Three of the competition with the draw split into Northern and Southern sections.
The Round Three draw, hosted by Dan Windle, will be available to listen to live on TalkSPORT 2, with the details of the completed draw also covered in full on the @PapaJohnsTrophy Twitter account.
Round Three matches will be played week commencing 11 January and the teams in the southern area quarter finals alongside the Cobblers are AFC Wimbledon, Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers, Peterborough United, Cambridge United, MK Dons and Oxford United.
