Keith Curle says the Cobblers will look to build on Tuesday's win over Gillingham as they prepare for Saturday’s home game against Sunderland, looking to become the first team to inflict an away defeat on Sunderland this season.
“We look forward to every game we play in and every game will throw up different challenges,” he said.
“It was a pleasing result against Gillingham on Tuesday night and a result that showed good character in the changing room.
“We have some good characters in the squad, we showed that on Tuesday night and it’s something we have to build on.
“As I’ve said before there are going to be a lot of twists and turns between now and the end of the season and some surprising results but the only result I concern myself with is our own."
