Keith Curle says the focus of the Northampton Town squad remains on achieving League 1 survival as they prepare to face Gillingham on Tuesday.
“The picture hasn’t changed, we know where we want to be at the end of the season and we know there will be lots of twists and turns between now and then," he said.
“We have a lot of challenges to face but we will accept those challenges head on.
“The mindset and the mentality in the changing room is that we need to find a way to win and that won’t change.
“We’ve stepped up a level this season and the players need to step up a level in every game.
“Gillingham are like everybody in this division in that they are striving for a level of consistency. There are lots of teams that have gone on a similar run to ourselves this season but you then get that one win that kicks you on.
“We need to get enough wins to keep us in this division and that has been in our mindset since day one this season.”
