Northampton Town manager Keith Curle is delighted to have added latest signing, central defender Fraser Horsfall to the squad.
"He was someone we have been tracking, we have been following him closely, and his character and his personality has really impressed us.
"He is a lad who is very keen to be on an upward progression path and he is a good fit for us. He accepts challenges and we have no doubt that he will continue his development with us.
"Fraser is a natural defender, he likes to get close to strikers, he is aggressive, he is a competitor and he likes to win the ball. The way we set ourselves up, we often go one on one, will suit him perfectly as he loves an individual battle and he can handle himself, make no mistake about that.
"There are areas of his game he needs to develop but he will do that with us and we think he has a lot of potential.
"When we speak to the players, we ask them to tell us the areas of their game where they think they are strong and also the areas where they think they can improve as well. We like the players to take responsibility for their own game and their own development and Fraser is very much in tune with that."
