SUPPORTING AN URGENT APPEAL FROM THE NORTHAMPTON HOPE CENTRE

Can you help those in need?

15 April 2020

The Northampton Hope Centre are launching an urgent appeal for help.

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, there is an unprecedented demand for their support. From a usual (on a busy week) distribution of around 40 crates of food a week, they are now distributing over 120.

As you can see, stock levels are quickly running out.

The community response to this situation has been heart warming, and some people are supporting the Hope Centre by doing street collections of food. They ask people to leave an item, on their doorstep, on a certain day, at a certain time and then the person coordinating can go round and collect the items in and deliver them to the Hope Centre.

This is fantastic, but the Hope Centre need more.

If you can co-ordinate a collection of food items in your area please call 01604 214300 to arrange to drop them off at the Northampton Hope Centre.

The sort of items that are particularly useful are:
Tinned meat and fish
Tinned vegetables
Tinned fruit
Baked Beans
Pasta / Noddle pots
Sauces to make meals with (pasta, casserole etc).

Thank you for any support you can offer.
