A ROUND UP OF OUR WORK TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY THIS WEEK

A look at some of the work of the club and the Northampton Town Community Trust

24 April 2020

Northampton Town Football Club and the Northampton Town Community Trust are working hard to support the community of Northampton and beyond during this coronavirus outbreak.

During the past few weeks, club officials, staff and players have continued to make phone calls and send videos and messages to supporters to check on their wellbeing, lift spirits or to generally help out. This work is ongoing and we would like to say thank you to everyone who has taken one of our calls so far, it has been great to speak to you!

Some of the other highlights this week have included:

Club Captain Nicky Adams talking about how pleased the players are to take part in this work.
Some hints, tips and advice for supporters from Club Doctor Mary McCracken
The Northampton Town Community Trust supported the launch of a new Fit Fans online campaign through the EFL Trust
The Northampton Town Community Trust's Extra Time group enjoying a virtual meeting online
Club Chaplain Haydon Spenceley reaching out to supporters
The Northampton Town Community Trust launched the club's brand new virtual running club
Your chance to support the work of the Northampton Town Community Trust through the #twopointsixchallenge

The Northampton Town Education programme have continued to deliver many hours of education to students from across the club's Academy, Football & Education and inclusion programmes, using a range of technology and there is of course plenty more to come, while under 18s coach Jon Brady and Club Doctor Mary McCracken shared some of their expertise with supporters via online videos.

Northampton Town Football Club and the Northampton Town Community Trust will continue to offer as much support as we can to those in need through this period of uncertainty and we look forward to the day when we can get together again at the PTS Academy Stadium!

In the meantime, if you wish to support the work of the Northampton Town Community Trust, we have over 300 items on our official ebay site ending in the next seven days with profits to the Northampton Town Community Trust.
