We were delighted to receive the below email from Mr Terry Howard after his daughter Layla was a mascot against Newport County on Saturday:
"I would like to take the time to thank the club again for the wonderful hospitality shown to my daughter Layla, during her mascot experience, as a parent myself and my wife can not recommend it enough.
"The club should be proud of its ethos.
"It's apparent that personnel from the top down operate with the highest pedigree and professionalism.
"From start to finish the day was excellent, with highlights being meeting her favourite player (David Cornell) again, who asked Layla to find her in the tunnel, so he could take her out on to the pitch.
"Before meeting the players, Layla met Keith Curle and his coaching staff, who were amazing, especially Dan Watson, who went above and beyond the call of duty (this may have been that Layla told him that her favourite player was in fact David Cornell, a goalkeeper).
"Last and by no means least, Phil and Colin in the Players Lounge ensured the day went without a hitch, juggling 7 mascots and their parents can't be an easy job, but they made it look effortless.
"Please pass on our gratitude as again you've made our daughter smile from ear to ear and she can't wait to tell her friends at school that she's a proud Cobblers fan (considering that we live over 100 miles away from Northampton, she wouldn't support anyone else!)
