Cobblers boss Keith Curle says Saturday’s trip to Bradford City offers a fantastic stage on which his players can perform.
“It will be a great environment for us to go and play in,” he said.
“They have got a great crowd but they are also very demanding and they will be expecting their team to be competing at the top of the division. We need to try and make them play how we want them to play, nullify their threat and then exploit their weaknesses.
“Bradford have done a lot of business over the summer and they will be going through some of the teething problems that we have. I think they have signed something like 15 new players, it’s not easy integrating that amount of players into a squad straight away, getting the best out of those players and finding a system that works.
“We need to compete and we need to be competitive in everything we do. From every game this season there have been some positives but Tuesday highlighted again that there are still things we need to work on.”
