We were delighted to receive the below email from Mr Steve Murphy after Jared Young was a matchday mascot at the Cambridge United game on Saturday.
"Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say how much Jared loved his day as a mascot on Saturday.
"From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and made to feel so welcome by all of the staff on the day.
"Phil and Colin in the Players' Lounge were brilliant and interacted with Jared all day. Keith and his team of coaches were great. Asking him questions and taking the time to listen to his answers. The players were all approachable and signed his programme and posed for photos.
"Dai Cornell, who Jared walked onto the pitch with, was brilliant with him, constantly chatting and making sure he wasn't nervous.
"The presents for the mascots at the end of the day was a lovely touch too.
"I would recommend the experience to any Cobblers fan."
