Cobblers boss Keith Curle was pleased with certain aspects of the performance in the win over Salford on Saturday but still feels there is more to come from his side, particularly in the final third.
“The scoreline on Saturday was pleasing, it was nice to score a couple of goals and get a clean sheet. I thought we were comfortable in the game but there are still areas we need to improve on,” he said.
“There is still more to come from us going forward and we can be more creative.
“We can get more people into the box and we can be more clinical from set pieces
“The more games you win, the more confident people become, there is a challenging and demanding environment here that we are creating and the players are accepting those challenges.
“If we win a game or lose a game it doesn’t change our mindset, we are still here to improve and we are still developing the unity within the group.”
