Keith Curle was appointed as Northampton Town's manager a year ago today.
He came in to the club with the Cobblers struggling in 22nd place in League 2, with one win, four draws and five losses adding up to seven points from their first ten games of the 2018/19 season. This season we have 15 points from eleven games.
Curle has overseen an upturn in fortunes, and has won 19 of his 55 games in charge, a ratio of 34.5%. His team have been beaten in just 16 of the 55 matches, a loss ratio of 29%.
The Cobblers boss has ensured the player pathway remains very much open and has seen seven players from the club's Academy and Football and Education programme make first team appearances over the last 12 months, as well as awarding contracts to seven of the club's successful under 18 team.
Curle has also worked strongly to support the club's work in the community, regularly spending time with supporters, supporting charitable causes and also helping the Northampton Town Ladies.
Happy first anniversary Keith, here's to continued progress as we start on our second year!
