Northampton Town player Sean Whaler, along with Academy scout Anthony Collett, visited young footballer Luther Osei at his home in Northampton on Thursday.
Luther was identified by scouts for the Northampton Town Academy but suffered a nasty knee injury before his trial could take place.
Luther is now recovering, and Sean took a signed shirt along to cheer him up and wish him well.
