Cobblers boss Keith Curle feels the relationship between the team and the supporters is growing following recent performances and results.
“There is an excitement and an enthusiasm from the supporters at the moment and that is something the team can embrace,” he said.
“The supporters are now becoming familiar with the players and what we are trying to achieve.
“We want to raise expectations of the football club and we want the fans to look forward to coming to see the team play.
“It’s nice to be operating towards the top end of the table and that is our aim.
“We want to be progressive as a football club and we want to improve from last season.”
