Cobblers boss Keith Curle believes the supporters are just starting to see the talent emerge from his squad but believes there is still a lot more to come.
Curle is also keen for what should be a large crowd at the PTS Academy Stadium to be right behind their team on Saturday afternoon as they look to move even closer to the top of the table Forest Green, who are just six points ahead of Northampton Town.
“I think the crowd are starting to see the emergence of the talent we have got in the squad,” he said.
“We’ve seen glimpses but I don’t think for any game yet we have performed to the level we want to for the full 90 minutes.
“I’m expecting an exciting game on Saturday and hopefully we will see a big crowd in.
“The supporters have been right behind us home and away and that gives the players a real lift.
“Winning games helps the environment we are trying to create with the players and we want to keep that going.”
