Cobblers boss Keith Curle previews Saturday’s home clash with Crewe Alexandra and says that the focus of his squad has switched very quickly back from cup to league.
The Crewe game is the first hime game for the Cobblers for three weeks, and with 9th playing 4th, offers an opportunity for the winners to close on the teams above them.
“Our mindset very quickly switches back to the league and we’ve got two good home games coming up,” he said.
“Crewe have had a good start to the season but the pleasing thing is that we are in touching distance and that makes Saturday a very big game.
“I’ve got a lot of time for David Artell and I’ve got a lot of respect for him.
“Crewe have got players who are good on the ball and if you allow them to play the way they want to play they can cause any team in this division problems.
“Our aim is to stop them from playing and exploit their weaknesses. That is how we always set up, it is how we set up on Sunday and how we will prepare for this weekend."
A big crowd is expected, but tickets for the game remain on sale via ntfcdirect.co.uk
