The Northampton Town Football & Education programme's Southern Championship side had an eventful afternoon as they entertained Crystal Palace on Wednesday afternoon.
After starting slowly, they came from two goals down no less than three times to bring the game against a Crystal Palace Foundation side level at 5-5 with 10 minutes to play, the goals including a hat-trick from Dylan Martin.
The game was then abandoned due to a major gas leak on a building site near to the venue which prevented the boys pushing for a winner. We are waiting to hear but it is likely that the result will stand at 5-5.
