A PICTORIAL REVIEW OF 2018/19

A look back at some of the Academy and community highlights of the season

As another season has come to a close, and before a busy summer begins, we are taking a look back photographically on some of the high points of the last ten months for the club from an Academy and community point of view.

The 2018/19 season saw 56 first team appearances from Academy players or graduates as the youth team won their league and progressed through to play Arsenal in the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup. They also made the semi finals of the EFL Youth Alliance Cup.

The first ever player from Football & Education programme to play for the first team was Scott Pollock when he made his debut in January, while HRH the Princess Royal paid us a visit in September to open our new Duston Education campus.

The club retained the Family Excellence Award and was rated 16th out of 72 EFL clubs for matchday family experience, being named the best in the EFL for on field matchday family entertainment. The Cobbler, the club's matchday programme, was runner up in the League 2 Programme of the Year award.

The Northampton Town Ladies played in front of big crowds in two matches at the stadium, and they achieved promotion by winning their league on Sunday.

For the second season in succession, the club won the EFL Supporter of the Year award with Frank Grande following on from Mustafa El-Bayati last season.
