New signing Striker Harry Smith has been talking about the attributes he is hoping to bring to Keith Curle’s side next season.
“I’d say I’m a bit of an old fashioned number nine,” he said.
“I’m hoping to bring a bit of energy and as a striker my main aim is goals.
“I want to improve on my tally from last season and I’m looking to hit 15-20 goals.
“I think there are some good players here already and I’m excited for what’s to come.
“I was a full-time welder three years ago playing semi-pro before I was picked up by Millwall.
“I’ve experienced a lot over the last few months at Macclesfield and now I’m looking forward to a fresh challenge.
“I want to play at the highest level I possibly can and I want to help this club push on.”
