Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Yeovil Town on Saturday for their latest EFL Youth Alliance Merit Division 1 fixture.
Morgan Roberts put the Cobblers in front early on but, in tough conditions for both teams, the game ended 1-1.
"Conditions were tough and the win played a massive part," said under 18s coach Jon Brady.
"Morgan got the goal but Ryan Smith was the stand out player for me.
The boys battled hard, we had two great chances at the end and but for some last-ditch defending from Yeovil we would have won the game."
